I liked the concept of the waterfall and the light fall in the same photo, but it didn't exactly work out. But it was an interesting idea so I decided to post it anyway. - View up the gorge from the lookout.
In this photo you can see the Columbia river on the left and the gorge hillside on the right. The right side has quite a few different waterfalls that were mostly frozen that day. - View in Waterton lodge.

In the Prince of Wales hotel, they had a difficult time trying to keep the hotel from blowing away from the top. So, they anchered the hotel with these thick cables (~ 1" thick) to the bedrock to keep it from sliding. - They're so cute!
