The photos from 2006
- Icy Babbling Brook 2
Every branch seems to have 6 inches of ice hanging down from it. - Icy Babbling Brook
We liked the contrast of the milky water and the stark ice. - CRW_9123_RJ.JPG

We were driving further down the gorge and we saw a cliff face that had a wall of ice, so we stopped and took some ice photos. - CRW_9142_RJ.JPG

- Base of Waterfall 1.
There is a walkway that you can see on the bottom of the photo, but we couldn't get any closer because it was covered in ice. - Crown Point
At the beginning of the Columbia River Gorge, there is a lookout point with an interesting stone viewpoint. The wind up there was quite fierce and so we didn't stay out very long. - Bridge and Lower Falls

- More Waterfall 1.
I liked the visual contrast between the moss and the cold blue waterfall. - Canon G3 - ISO 400
I was curious about comparing the noise between my current camera and the new one. So I shot this image at ISO 400 with the Canon G3 that I've been using. - CRW_9154_RJ.JPG
- Ice Wall
We had to hike up a hill to get to this wall of ice. It was a good 30-40 feet tall. You're only seeing the right half of it. As we took pictures, chunks of ice would skid down the hill. - CRW_9192_RJ.JPG
- Waterfall 1...
I liked the concept of the waterfall and the light fall in the same photo, but it didn't exactly work out. But it was an interesting idea so I decided to post it anyway. - Ryan's impish little grin.
- little bird.
This little guy was flying around and I had fun being able to track him and actually get him in focus. - line of trees down
- What a cutie!
